Craft Room Re-Org is DONE!

Operation room re-organize is finally done! I got some great ideas for storage from fellow bloggers and some very smart ladies over at studio calico! Some things posted I already had, and others are new. I posted where everything came from, and if you have any questions just ask! I used my little label maker to label everything so I can find it much faster!
12 x 12 clear plastic storage cases from Micheals. Great fro larger chipboard, stamps, rub ons, and completed or in progress scrapbook pages.
Craft mates ribbon holder. This is my favorite ribbon holder so far. You can change the inside to fit many different sizes of ribbon spools. This one I have only been able to find at Wal-Mart.
Home Depot Shelving system. This is where I keep the stuff I dont use every day, but things that I still need to be accesable. and out in the open where I wont forget about them.
Stampin up inks and holder, all from SU!
Work space behind my sitting area. I keep everything I need and use most often here. Adhesives, stickers, rub-ons, tools, embelishments, etc.
4x6 Photo holder from Micheals. Works great for all my smaller embelishments. and it comes in a great carrying case!
Stampin up stamps in their cases organized by theme.
Stampin up Punches, kitchen hardware from IKEA
Glitters, flock, and embossing stuff. Rail system from Lisa & Becky.
Making memories lazy susan, Micheals. Embelishemet holder from Stampin Up. This is my island where I have lots of room for all of my projects!
New Childrens area. Chair, desk and door all re-purposed.
I took out the 3 glass panes and replaces them with cork, wire and sheet metal t make a little media center for all the boys little crafts!
This was one of my favorite junk finds! It is 77" long, 36" tall and 26" deep. It looked horrible when I found it, the top was rotten and it was filthy, I had to get my brother and my husband to get it into the truck. It has 12 cubbies all perfect for baskets, books, and tons of other storage! Did I mention it was FREE!
Project organizers, great for stickers and rub ons, each one labled by season/theme. Office Max $7 each. They are 10 x 13, and about 3 inches deep.
Magnetic wall, a piece of sheet metal and 2 plastic strips for wall board seams. all from Home Depot, sheet metal is from the duct work isle, I used 2 pieces here.
More shelves from Home Depot
Rail system from Becky & Lisa, great for stamps not sold in a kit!
81/2 x 11 & 12x12 paper storage. Office max and Stampin up.
My happy boy who loves his new little work area!

Proof & a GIVEAWAY

So over the weekend I was in my scraproom trying to get a few pages done and I suddenly found myself re-organizing AGAIN. I am just not happy with my sticker & rub on storage. Before I knew it i was cleaning, and purging and completely going though every nook and cranny in my room, and while right now it is an absolute disaster...

Soon, it will be done and better than ever! I decided to move my finished scrapbooks out of my room, they were up high on a shelf and no one ever looked at them, so tonight I moved them and this is all the proof I need that that was the best thing I could have done!

Nicholas and Zach are having so much fun looking at their books from when they were babies. I hope now that my books are down and in the family room they will get looked at all the time, what is the point of doing all that work if they sit up on a shelf never getting looked at!
So that was the proof, now it is time for the GIVEAWAY! This will be my first! So while I have been busy purging, I have been trying to decide what to do with all the stuff I need to get rid of, so I thought I would do this! I am going to send one lucky winner a goodie bag full of scraping supplies! I have some stuff that has never even been opened that no longer fits my style/needs. So it is your lucky day!

First: you must be a follower, so if you are not make sure to start! You never know what I might do next!
Second: just leave a comment about your favorite way to store your scrapping supplies especially rub ons & stickers!
Third: leave a link to my blog on your blog (if you have one) mentioning my giveaway and my quest for storage solutions!

Good luck!! You have 1 week, I will draw 1 lucky winner next Monday!

Happy Crafting!

Projects COMPLETE from A to Z

BEFORE:An Old Smoking Table bought for $5 bucks

Antique Auditorium seats, stole for $15!!! See the "afters" below!!!

I finally found some time to work on some of the stuff I brought home from the flea market in Warrens WI. I had so much fun putting it all together! I don't know what I like better, the chairs or the table! The chairs have so much history, but the table is just so unique!

I did get the idea from Junk Beautiful Outdoor edition. They have a similar table made with a printers drawer and wash boards. It was my own idea to add the old letters and the photos. It is now my own family heirloom! I bought the printers drawer from an antique vendor, and got the washboards from my SIL Jess, they were from her grandmothers stash of AWESOME junk!!! The table top is just a piece of Plexiglas from the home depot.

The letters on the chairs are my 3 boys 1st initials.
This candle holder I made from an old chair spring & some votive holders that fit perfectly inside. There are so many cool things that you can do with these!

I left all the original hardware on the chairs, including these cool little book holders under the seats!

And lastly I re-finished this old smokers table, the inside is tin, so you can actually burn a candle inside without staring the table on fire! Well that's all for today! Now it's time to get caught up on some laundry, TV & finish my latest Jodi Picoult book!

I am having fun with Donna over at Funky Junk Interiors! Check out her blog here, I promise you will be soooooo inspired!!
