Fabric & Burlap Pumpkins

Sorry I have been MIA lately! Summer is busy and I don't get much crafting done! But this weekend it is really starting to feel like fall here and I finally spent some time sewing up some fabirc and burlap pumpkins!

All the leaves are mande from recycled wool sweaters, a broken branch for the stem, some raffia and liitle curled wire.

Each one is a little bit different from the other. Which is strange, I used the same size patten in the 2 above! The burlap is taller and the fabic is more round!

Here's to fall!

  1. Missy, do you wash your burlap before using it?

  2. So cute! And so many different ones. And I LOVE seeing a fall craft! Also, am curious too, do you wash the burlap before use? *I have yet to sew with it*

  3. Thank you! And no I do not wash it first, I do iron with steam. Not sure what washing will do to it. My burlap is all recycled and when I press it, it seems to do the trick! Hope that helps!
