I love stealing...

....GREAT IDEAS that is!

My friend Krista (snowman hill) is so darn clever! She comes up with the best ideas! I saw what she did on her blog with bird nests and just had to make one for myself! Luckily I also have a wonderful hubby who has been keeping his eye out for great "junk" for me to do something with. So I now have this awesome little junk stash in our garage just waiting to be re-purposed!!

Before...does anyone know what this is? I think it is some kind of juicer?

After, as a center piece in my kitchen! Love it!! Thanks Krista!

The cutest new idea in purses!

Have you heard of these? Miche Bags! it is a basic purse with magnetic "shells" that you can change as often as you want! So one day you have a green purse, maybe the next its red! All without ever having to switch out your actual purse and all of the contents! I have a friend who can get these, if you are interested please contact me. You can see all the styles available at Michebag.com, but don't order them online, there are much better deals by having a purse party, which is what I will do if there is enough interest! Let me know! I have 3 on order, can't wait to get them!

Here goes nothing....

Well not really nothing, only about 80 hours of my hard work, lots of Stampin up supplies ( I may need to replenish my stash!), oh yeah and some really cute projects! 5 cards, 3 scrapbook pages, & 2, 3 dimensional items! It is time for the annual Artisan Award from Stampin Up! I so wish i could show you my stuff, but I am not allowed to post them! But here is what my room looked like when I was done! So please cross your fingers for me! I really loved everything I submitted, so lets hope the judges agree this year! It's gotta be my year one of these times, right? The calls go out on May 26!

My 3 Sons

I thought I would share some pictures that I took of our boys last week. The three of them keep us very busy!!

This is Zachary, turned 4 in February. He is the baby, and has his daddy wrapped very tightly around his finger. He loves his pre-school, he goes 2 days a week & is already asking when he gets to start kindergarten! He loves to eat peanut butter and pancakes, not together though. He is also my little coffee addict, thats right, coffee! He loves it! Caribou is his favorite!

Nicholas is 5 1/2, he will be 6 in August. He loves school, and his teacher says that he is one of the best little boys in her class. He always wants to help out and does whatever is asked of him. She is amazed at how well he can already write his last name! His favorite thing to do is to stay home in his jammies and play video games, either on the computer or the Wii! He would play all day if we would let him, yesterday he was so excited because he finally defeated grevis....OK then!!

This is Austin the oldest, 14!!! He starts high school in the fall...how did I get that old already? He is a very good big brother, he watches his brothers and they love when they get to stay home with Austin! He likes to build models and play football. He does very well in school, just got a 3.0! He has a lot of good friends, they are all really good kids, and not too many girls calling the house, yet! I am afraid of next year!

Wedding Day Photos

I was asked to take photos at a wedding this weekend, My sister in laws, sister was getting married!
I did not want to shoot everything, as I am far from professional! This is really just a fun hobby for me, so I agreed, but only if there was another photographer there, after all, its not like we could re-do the whole day if I messed up! So I went in with my new SLR camera and just took pictures all day! No pressure, no stress, it was great! We went down by the lake even though it was only 25 degrees out! But had fun getting some shots by the ice, and over looking the lake.

Carter getting busted with his 3rd piece of cake, but I can't blame him, it was delicious! The Exchange, no one does wedding cake better!

Daisies, Daydreams, & Antiques

I finally de-wintered my house, but realized I needed a fresh look for Spring! I went to Old Town Antiques, Target & then Daisies and Daydreams! I found exactly what I needed!

I got this great distressed frame from Target, the green speckled eggs, Bird & Nest from Daisies & Daydreams.

I found these pillars at Old town Antiques. The candles, rings, & pillow were from Daisy's!

I love Daisies & Daydreams!! If you have not been there, check it out, she has great home decor, for all year round and the best seasonal selection too! She also sells the BEST candles! The store is located on Haines RD by AT&T, and Brag Game Rights.

Could it really be...

SPRING????

So many signs out there, I know it will be here soon! The day I took most of these photos it was 55 degrees outside! But it did not last too long, we have to enjoy the warm days when we have then here! And until June they will be very hit or miss! So enjoy the warm days when you can, and in the mean time drink some coffee, be crafty and stay inside where it is always warm!

It was a great day for an afternoon walk!

Chester Bowl Creek...the water is moving!
