The Stockings were hung & 100% Recycled!

I have tons of scraps left over from making my coffee bean bag totes & pillows. I have not been able to throw them out because I knew there would be something cute I could make from them, today I made Christmas stockings! I picked up some sweaters at savers to use as accents, and they turned out so cute! I am going to make them for my whole family, no more "typical" stocking for us! maybe santa will be extra good to me for being so green this year!

e The back side has a little coffee bean bag character...
Stay tuned for more, these were my first 3 and I had to put them up right away! Now, how am I going to be able to refrain from cutting up my own sweaters....

Well now, aren't you the clever one!!! They are adorable! Better than anything to be found in a store. Good for you!

These are great. Just how big are they? Against the fireplace, they look huge. I love anything with raw natural texture, and these certainly don't disappoint.

Missy,
My mother-in-law and the perfect gramma to my three kids and my 5 grandchildren (I started young :-))
passed away yesterday. I have been looking for an idea to use some of her sweaters to make keepsakes for all of the chillin's. I knew if I came to blogland I could count on the creativity of the wonderful individuals here. You have saved the day with your stocking idea. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the gift you have aloud me to copy for all of my family.
