A little tease...

Isn't she a beauty?? $5 at an estate sale. I instantly saw potential, see that lamp shade?? It is Burlap!
The shade alone is worth the $5, but I saw vision in the entire lamp, so here is your sneak peak into my living room, it is taking much longer than I anticipated (darn knee!) This lamp is tying the entire room together, think color and texture!

These rosettes were made from scraps of something else in the room....
More sneak peaks tomorrow! :)

Thanks Guys! I have been having so much fun, final reveal will be tomorrow, I need to finish up a few more things yet! Victoria, I used leftover materials from the sheers, cut a strip about 2-3 inches wide and sewed in half the long way using a gathering stitch, then I gathered the strip and used a needle and thread to tack it in place as I started to roll the fabric into a flower. Let me know if that is clear, maybe I need to do a tutorial! :) It may be easier to follow that way! Just let me know!

What a great find with the lamp...apparently where I live people don't believe in selling lamps for awesome deals like that. I've been searching for a good one forever (reasonably priced of course). I love what you did with the flowers. It looks beautiful.
